What are your purchasing minimums?

We require all wholesale orders to consist of at least 6 items.  You do not have to order 6 of the same items, you may mix and match styles, sizes and colors to complete your minimum purchase.

Who pays for shipping?

Our shipping terms are FOB Savannah, GA.  This means that you are responsible for shipping charges.  The shopping cart does not compute shipping charges because we charge actual amounts.  Shipping charges are figured when your order is ready to ship (or ahead of time if we pretty much know what the weight of the shipment will be).  You will be notified of the entire order amount prior to your shipment being sent.

What are your terms?  How do I pay for my order?

For your first 3 orders, at least, we require payment by credit card (Mastercard, Visa, American Express or Discover) or PayPal.  We will accept checks, but your order will not ship until your check has cleared the bank.  After your first 3 orders, you may request credit terms.  We will then issue 15 day terms after credit references are furnished.

Can I pay COD?

Unfortunately, NO.  First of all, UPS charges us and extra $6.00 to ship items COD.  Second of all, 100% of our bad debt write offs have come from COD orders, so we just can't do it anymore.

What if I need just 1 or 2 TowelBuddies shipped directly to my customer?

Go to the drop ship section of the web site to place your order.  You can get there at http://www.towelbuddies.com/dropship.  There is a username and password required (email Customer Service to get one).  The cost of the items for drop ship is slightly higher, but this is the only way around the purchasing minimum.  You must already be an established wholesale customer or a have a drop ship account with us to use this service.

Why do you ask for a resellers ID #?

This gives us a way to check with your state's Department of Revenue to make sure you are a legitimate reseller.  It also helps us account for not charging sales tax on orders when we file our sales tax returns each month.

What about damaged merchandise and customer returns?

We stand behind our product 100%.  If you receive damaged goods, or if one of your customers returns goods due to manufacturer's defects, we will replace it right away and cover the charge to return the damaged merchandise to us.

If you have a customer that wants to return merchandise for any other reason it is up to you how to handle it.

What if I want to exchange merchandise?

Often, resellers will find that one style sells better for them than another and request an exchange.  We are more than happy to accommodate you in this instance.  We only ask that you pay to ship your return merchandise to us as well as the cost to ship the replacement product to you.

What shipment methods do you use?

Unless you request otherwise, we use UPS ground for all shipments over 3 pounds.  Orders under 3 pounds are shipped via USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation.

How will I know when my order has shipped?

You will receive an email directly from UPS informing you that your TowelBuddies are on their way.  A tracking number will be included in that email for your convenience.  Orders can be tracked directly at http://www.ups.com

How long after my order is placed before it ships?

That depends on the season, the size of your order and the items in your order.  As a rule, most wholesale orders ship within 7 business days.  If it will be longer you will certainly be notified.  Regardless, you will be given an estimated shipping date within 24 hours after your order was placed.

Is there a set retail price I must charge my customers for your products?

No.  This is your business and you may charge whatever price you want.  However, we do have suggested retail prices that we recommend you charge.

I'm always concerned about the security of my credit card data.  Is your website secure, and who processes your credit card transactions?

We take security very seriously.  Our shopping cart is very secure and we do not store credit card numbers at any time in any way on the computer.  We will store credit card numbers when requested, but they are stored on paper files in a locked file cabinet in a locked office in a locked building.  There will be no electronic fraud generated from our site!
